Haven't been active on this site for a few years, simply because my frequency of writing has decreased as I focus more and more on music. However, I've realized that one of my musical goals includes being a lyricist, so I've decided to resume writing and reading at a greater pace.

I'm currently studying abroad in Amsterdam, and it's the most incredible city I've ever experienced. The architecture, the kind but direct people, the food, the biking culture, the canals...there's so much to love. There are so many things I want to say, so much music I want to make about this city. It's the most inspiring thing I've experienced in quite a while.

I really want to become a part of the DeviantArt community again...I remember back when I was very active, feeling I had made some true friends on this website, with many being from different cultures. Constantly meeting people and absorbing art in this incredible center of creativity was a very positive part of my life a few years ago. I think it would be truly good for me to get involved again. (:

I haven't been writing very much lately,
but now I've been gifted a 3-month membership by kenna20, and I almost feel obligated to write again!

(And that's a very good thing, in every way.)

In case anyone reads this, I just have to share this amazing TED talk that I watched: www.ted.com/talks/neil_harbiss…
It's a man who has been colorblind since birth, but had software installed into his brain so that he can HEAR color! Each color has a certain frequency, and he is now able to identify each one effortlessly. In fact, he is able to identify infrared and ultraviolet as well, colors that cannot be perceived by the human eye.

The funniest part to me was this: during the talk, he's wearing a very colorful outfit -- pink jacket, blue shirt, yellow pants. He explained that he used to dress according to what looked good, but now he dresses according to what sounds good! "Today, I'm wearing a C major." Hahahaha.

Thanks for reading.

Writing a little bit every night, now.

I'll upload things here and there.

...Things are pretty crazy, right now.

I barely even consider myself a writer anymore. Who knows, I may upload things here and there up here on DA (I uploaded something only a few days ago), but this account is not going to be very active.

Just wanted to let anyone who cares know.
